Along with the molestation charges, social media chats and messages exchanged between the Minister and the female coach have been also included in the charge sheet.

The final chargesheet against minister was submitted before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate on Friday.

Earlier, in the chargesheet, the police only imposed molestation charges against the Sports Minister while attempt to sexual harassment case was not mentioned on which female coach and her lawyer raised objections. Lawyer argued that police have not mentioned sections 376 and 511 of IPC regarding attempt to rape in the case.

Meanwhile, an SIT was formed to examine the eyewitnesses from the Sports Department which also included close aides of Sandeep Singh.

Last December, a junior woman athlete coach said that the then-sports minister harassed her from February to November of last year via multiple social media messages, touched her inappropriately, and threatened her in text messages.
