Two Jharkhand Jaguar Force personnel killed in Maoist ambush
Jharkhand, August 15: Two personnel of the Jharkhand Jaguar Force of the Jharkhand police were killed in a gunfight with Maoists in West Singhbhum district, a senior officer informed on Tuesday.
The incident occurred late Monday night in the Tonto area.
"The two jawans, identified as Amit Tiwari and Gautam Kumar, were killed in a Maoist ambush," West Singhbhum Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Shekhar stated.

The incident occurred just a few days after a CRPF jawan was killed and another was injured in the same area during an encounter with Maoists. A combing operation was taking place in the area.
