The BJP is now contesting the Lok Sabha Elections in Punjab without its former alliance partner, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), led by Sukhbir Singh Badal. Looking to increase its presence in the state on its own, the BJP is contesting all 13 Lok Sabha seats, which will be voted on in the seventh phase.
The campaign for the seventh round of the Lok Sabha elections will end on Thursday. The remaining 57 seats will be voted on at this final phase on June 1. Vote counting is set for June 4.
