Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday released commemorative coin on Sikh tenth Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji . PM Modi released coin to mark the 352nd Prakash Purb of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

Union Minister Harsimrat kaur Badal, Former PM Manmohan Singh , Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) Chief Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal and Rajya Sabha Member Balwinder Singh Bhundhar were also present during the function.

Earlier on January 5, 2017, PM Modi had attended 350th birth anniversary celebrations of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. PM had also released a commemorative postage stamp to mark the occasion.

In his Mann Ki Baat radio program, broadcasted on December 30, he recalled Gobind Singh’s message that people should consider entire mankind as one. He lauded Guru Gobind Singh Ji for his heroism, sacrifice and devotion.
