Mohali RPG attack: Police nab close aide of Canada-based terrorist Lakhbir Singh Landa
Chandigarh, February 17: Punjab Police arrested an associate of Canada-based terrorist Lakhbir Singh Landa in connection with the Mohali RPG attack case, police said on Friday. The arrested accused has been identified as Gurpinder alias Pindu.
In May of last year, a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) was fired at the Punjab Police intelligence headquarters in Mohali.
The attack was allegedly carried out by Landa's associate Gurpinder Pindu, according to Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav.
“In a major breakthrough #PunjabPolice has apprehended Gurpinder @ Pindu, involved in #RPG attack at Intel HQs #Mohali, #Punjab,” Yadav said. “He is a key operative and associate of #Canada-based #BKI terrorist Lakhbir Singh @Landa,” he added.
