Mohali schools receive fresh bomb threat; Fortis Hospital also mentioned
PTC Web Desk: Several schools in Mohali received bomb threats on Tuesday, triggering panic among parents and authorities. Among the institutions named was Gyan Jyoti Global School in Phase 2, along with other schools in the area.
Following the threat, school authorities immediately declared a holiday and sent students back home as a precautionary measure. Police teams and bomb disposal squads were rushed to the premises to conduct thorough checks.
Sources said the threatening message also mentioned Fortis Hospital in Mohali, raising further security concerns. Security has been tightened around sensitive locations, and investigations are underway to trace the origin of the threat.
