Pakistani national arrested by BSF near Amritsar border for suspicious activity
PTC Web Desk: The Border Security Force (BSF) has arrested a Pakistani national for suspicious activity near the India-Pakistan international border in the Amritsar sector. The arrest took place at the Border Out Post (BOP) Mullakot.
The apprehended individual has been identified as Mohammad Zaid, a resident of Hakima Wala village in Pakistan. BSF personnel, while on patrol, spotted him moving suspiciously across the border. Upon interrogation, he failed to provide a satisfactory response, prompting his immediate arrest.
Following his detention, BSF officials are conducting an in-depth interrogation to determine whether Zaid crossed the border unintentionally or was attempting an infiltration as part of a larger scheme.
Security measures along the border have been heightened, with intelligence agencies joining the investigation.
