Security ramped up as Punjab, Haryana farmers head to Chandigarh for 3-day protest
Chandigarh, November 26: Farmers from Punjab and Haryana have started their march towards Chandigarh for a 3-day protest on the call of Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM).
Notably, farmers had announced plans to hold a morcha in 'Chandigarh' on November 26, 27, and 28, during which they will march from Mohali Phase 11 to Chandigarh. Aside from that, Haryana farmers will march from Sector 5 in Panchkula.
Due to the farmers' march, a large police force has been deployed at all Chandigarh entry points. Let us inform you that there will be a demonstration in support of many farmers' demands.
Haryana farmers start their march
Farmers have been leaving Jind since the morning. Farmers from larger villages will march with two tractors and four trolleys, whereas farmers from smaller villages will march with one tractor and one trolley.
