Sri Akal Takht Sahib grants pardon to Ranjit Singh Dhadhrianwale, allows him to resume Sikh preaching
PTC News Desk: Sri Akal Takht Sahib on Wednesday granted pardon to Sikh preacher Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale after he appeared before highest temporat body of Sikhs. Dhahdrianwale appeared before five Singh Sahibansat Sri Akal Takht Sahib and submitted his apology along with the clarification over his past controversial comments.
Sri Akal Takht Sahib has also lifted the ban imposed on his preaching .
Acting Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj presided over the meeting and reinstated Dhadrianwale to resume preaching Gurbani. Upong accepting the apology, Jathedar ahs also directed him to offer 'deg' worth Rs 501 at Sri Akal Takht Sahib, a traditional act signifying humility and reconciliation.
In light of the decision, Dhahdrianwale has also been directed to stay mindful of his remarks which in no manner shall oppose Sikh maryada and keeping in mind Sikh maryada (etiquette).
