Punjab govt to unveil budget 2021 on March 8; details inside
Punjab Budget Session 2021: Punjab government will now unveil its Budget 2021 on March 8 in Vidhan Sabha, the Business Advisory Committee stated on Wednesday.
According to the sources, the date for the presentation of Punjab budget 2021 in Vidhan Sabha was proposed on March 5.

With its first report, the Business Advisory Committee stated that the Punjab budget 2021 in Vidhan Sabha will be presented on March 8.
The budget session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha is underway. It started on March 1 and will conclude on March 10.

In the wake of rising cases of coronavirus in Punjab, Speaker Rana KP Singh had asked all the ministers, MLAs, and other staff involved in the proceedings of the Assembly to undergo a test for coronavirus.
Even as the media persons were mandated to get themselves tested for coronavirus before attending the session.
Ahead of the budget session, the State Water Resources Minister Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria had tested positive for coronavirus. His report was found positive, after which he himself has gone into isolation.
