Punjab: Pargat Singh, Yoginder Pal Dhingra new general secretaries of PCC
Punjab: The Congress has approved the names of Pargat Singh and Yoginder Pal Dhingra as new general secretaries of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC). Gulzar Inder Chahal has been appointed the PPCC treasurer, according to an official AICC statement.
Earlier in the day, Chief Minister of Punjab Charanjit Singh Channi held talks with party leaders in the Delhi about the Cabinet formation.

Charanjit Singh Channi, his two deputies Sukhjinder Randhawa and OP Soni, and Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu met AICC general secretary KC Venugopal and held a discussion on the Cabinet formation. AICC general secretary in-charge of Punjab affairs Harish Rawat was also present.
As per reports, Channi, Randhawa, Soni and Sidhu also met senior party leader Ambika Soni at her residence.

Channi and others were scheduled to meet Rahul Gandhi, but the latter is not in Delhi.
