CM Mann black flag row: Mohanjit Singh shifted to Patiala's Rajindra Hospital after his health deteriorates
PTC News Desk: Mohanjit Singh , who was allegedly subjected to police torture in police custody, has now been shifted from Sangrur Civil Hospital to Rajindra Hospital in Patiala for further treatmentafter his health suddenly started deteriorating.
Rajindra Hospital turns into fortress
According to information, heavy police deployment was made outside Rajindra Hospital when Mohanjit Singh was brought there from Sangrur. The hospital premises were turned into a virtual police camp.
BJP leader Daman Bajwa also accused the Patiala Police of preventing people from meeting Mohanjit Singh at the hospital. She said they had accompanied him from Sangrur but were not allowed to enter the hospital. She added that Mohanjit Singh’s condition was currently very serious.
Dr Karamjot Singh Sandhu said Mohanjit Singh Sheron had been referred to Rajindra Hospital in Patiala, where he was being examined by specialist doctors.
He said a CT scan and other necessary tests were being conducted to assess his condition. Mohanjit Singh is currently unconscious and doctors are closely monitoring him.
Dr Sandhu said a full team of doctors is available to treat him and that all necessary medical care will be provided at Rajindra Hospital based on his condition.
