Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Rajpura, constituency number 111, is located in the Patiala District of Punjab. It is one of the 117 seats of Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Hardial Singh Kamboj from Congress won the last assembly elections and is the current MLA of Rajpura. He won the elections held in 2017 by defeating AAP's Ashutosh Joshi with a margin of 32565 votes. Voters According to the voter list for the 2017 assembly elections, the total number of voters was 165727. 187 polling stations were established by the election commission during these elections. A total of 127651 votes were cast in the constituency Rajpura and the percentage was 77.02%. Candidates Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had given the ticket to Ashutosh Joshi for the 2017 assembly elections. BJP at that time had an Alliance with SAD and had deployed Harjit Singh Grewal from Rajpura to contest for 2017 Assembly elections. Congress had given the ticket to Hardial Singh Kamboj as its MLA candidate who the elections by defeating AAP's Ashutosh Joshi.
