New Delhi, August 06: Elon Musk's eagerly anticipated fight against Meta's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, will be live-streamed on X, the microblogging platform formerly known as Twitter. The showdown between these tech giants has ignited excitement online ever since they accepted the challenge to face each other in a cage fight.

Musk made the announcement via a tweet, revealing that all proceeds from the event will go to charity, specifically benefiting veterans.

In preparation for the fight, Musk shared on X that he has been consistently lifting weights throughout the day while balancing his busy schedule. Humorously, he mentioned bringing weights to work due to the lack of time for a separate workout.

When a user questioned the purpose of the fight, Musk responded that it serves as a "civilized form of war" and that men have an inherent attraction to such competitions.

The rivalry between the 51-year-old Musk and the 39-year-old Zuckerberg has been ongoing for years, with their contrasting opinions spanning various topics, including politics and artificial intelligence.

Recently, the tension escalated when Meta introduced the app Threads, which possesses similarities to Twitter. In a playful manner, Musk publicly expressed his willingness to participate in a cage fight with Zuckerberg.

The Meta CEO, who has been sharing martial arts videos and following the trend of tech bosses displaying their physical fitness, promptly responded to Musk's challenge on his Instagram Stories with the phrase, "Send me location."

Social media platforms have been buzzing with discussions and predictions regarding the outcome of the fight, with many favoring Zuckerberg as the potential victor.

Various individuals have expressed their anticipation for the event, with technology journalist Taylor Lorenz humorously praying for it to happen. Meanwhile, podcaster Bennett Tomlin jokingly commented that the "best Musk-Zuckerberg cage match is one in which two men enter and no men leave."
