T20I series: From Virat Kohli to Rohit Sharma ; List of most 'Player of the Match' awards in T20I

T20I series: During the third T20I match between India and South Africa, several cricketers from Virat Kohli to Rohit Sharma and Zimbabwean cricketer Sikandar Raza has been in the top list of Player of the Match' awards. 

Suryakumar was named the 'Player of the Match' after he slammed his century. Following this he became the second cricketer with the most 'Player of the Match' awards in Men's T20I.


Virat Kohli 

After playing 115 T20 matches Virat Kohli was named the 'Player of the Match' in 15 games. The legendary batter scored 4008 runs in his 20-over career. The former India skipper also had a stupendous journey in ODI World Cup 2023 where he was the top scorer of the tournament. 


Rohit Sharma

India skipper Rohit Sharma played 148 matches and has 12 'Player of the Match' awards in his T20I career. The 36-year-old scored 3853 runs in the 20-over cricket format.   

 

Suryakumar Yadav                 

Suryakumar Yadav appeared in T20I 60 matches, out of which he was named in 14 games. In the previous T20I match against South Africa, he scored 100 runs from 56 balls with a strike rate of 178.57.  


Sikandar Raza

Zimbabwean cricketer Sikandar Raza is the third player with the most 'Player of the Match' awards in Men's T20I. He has played 78 20-over matches and had 14 'Player of the Match' awards. In his T20I career, the 37-year-old scored 1774 runs. 

Mohammad Nabi

The Afghan cricketer Mohammad Nabi has 14 'Player of the Match' awards in his 109 T20I matches. The bowling allrounder scored 1803 runs and scalped 87 wickets in the 20-over format.
