Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah makers issue apology; know why
The entire team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah including makers and cast have issued an apology for wrongly stating that Lata Mangeshkar's song 'Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon' was released in 1965.
The official social media handle of the show issued a statement on Monday night, promising fans to be mindful in the future.
“We would like to apologise to our viewers, fans and well-wishers. In today’s episode, we inadvertently mentioned 1965 as the year of the release of the song ‘Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon’. However, we would like to correct ourselves. The song was released on 26th Jan, 1963. We promise to be mindful in the future. We appreciate your support and love - Asit Modi and Team Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah," the statement issued by the TMKOC team read.

In response, a fan commented, "Wohhhh!!!! No problem sir. You show such things is a very big thing. Choti Choti galti chalti h sir.. We will still love you." Meanwhile, another user commented, "This is called the real love towards the viewers also it was mistake they committed it and made us know the truth. Salute to TMKOC team." A third fan said, "Galtiyaan toh sabse hoti hai," while another wrote "Arre koi baat nahi."
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest-running TV shows, and it stars Dilip Joshi, Munmun Dutta, Amit Bhatt, Shailesh Lodha, Raj Anadkat, Sonalika Joshi, Mandar Chandwadkar among others.
TMKOC is running successfully for over 13 years now, the first episode being premiered in 2008. The show completed 3300 episodes in November last year.
