Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Shiromani Akali Dal's Jathedar Tota Singh has served as the Minister for Agriculture & NRI Affairs in the previous Punjab Government. He is Senior Vice President and Member, High Power Committee of Shiromani Akali Dal and Member of Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee. Jathedar Tota Singh contested the Punjab Assembly elections 2022 from the Dharamkot seat. However, he lost the battle as he bagged only 30,495 votes.
