Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Congress' Sunil Dutti is nominated as the MLA candidate from Amritsar North. In 2017, he was elected as a member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly from Amritsar North by defeating Anil Joshi of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He served as Councillor in the Municipal Corporation, Amritsar from 1997 to 2012 and the Mayor of Municipal Corporation, Amritsar 2002 to 2007. He has also been a member of the Public Accounts Committee of Punjab Vidhan Sabha.
