PTC Web Desk: In a bombshell revelation that sent shockwaves through Punjab's political arena, Sirat Kaur, the daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, unleashed a scathing attack on her father's integrity in a video that surfaced during a press conference by senior Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Bikram Singh Majithia on Saturday.
The controversial video, unveiled to the public by Bikram Singh Majithia, showcases Sirat Kaur levelling accusations against her father Bhagwant Mann, alleging neglect and dereliction of duties towards her and her sibling. Her statement resonated with a powerful question: "If a person cannot fulfill parental responsibilities, how can they be entrusted with steering Punjab's welfare?"
Adding fuel to the fire, Sirat Kaur further asserted that her father's wife, Dr Gurpreet Kaur, sidelined her and her sibling. Sirat highlighted that Dr Gurpreet Kaur is also pregnant.
Expressing a profound detachment from her father's actions, Sirat vehemently disassociated herself from his name, emphasising her stance amid the escalating controversy.
Bikram Singh Majithia also said that "those who fail their own children cannot be relied upon to effectively serve the interests of the state".
