Shikhar Dhawan and Sophie Shine haldi: Pictures of pre-wedding moments go viral
PTC Web Desk: Shikhar Dhawan, the former top batsman for India, is all set to begin a new phase in his personal life. The former India opener is to tying the knot to the love of his life Sophie Shine.
The wedding festivities are already in full swing. Sophie recently shared beautiful pictures and videos from their pre-wedding ceremonies, including the haldi and sangeet functions, on Instagram. The photos quickly caught the attention of fans, not just for the joyful moments but also for the couple’s stylish outfits.
Sophie shared a number of behind-the-scenes photos from her haldi ceremony on February 20. Her attractive attire, however, was the main focus of the occasion and stood out the most.
One of the pictures shows Sophie laughing her heart out next to Dhawan. The former cricket player looked good in a traditional white kurta-pyjama and a mustard Nehru jacket. Their laid-back and upbeat attitude gave the vibrant ceremony warmth and charm.
Dhawan maintained an attractive look at a different event by wearing a cream bandhgala-style jacket with white pants. He added a slight pop of color to his ensemble with a soft pink pocket square.
In June of last year, Sophie made her relationship status open with Dhawan on social media. Since then, the couple has posted a few entertaining and interesting posts together, but they have largely kept their relationship under the wraps.
Dhawan played for India in 34 Test matches, 167 One Day Internationals (ODIs), and 68 T20 Internationals. He was renowned for his outstanding batting. After a stellar career, he announced his retirement from international cricket in August 2024. Fans are excited to see him experience joy off the pitch as he enters this new phase of life.
