Wanted for Republic Day violence, Lakha Sidhana was spotted attending a farmer rally in Bathinda, Punjab. The police has been looking for him ever since the violence broke out at Red Fort during the farmers’ tractor rally on January 26.
It is pertinent to mention that Delhi Police has announced Rs 1 lakh as reward on Lakhbir Singh alias Lakha Sidhana.
Lakha Sidhana, who was spotted in a farmer rally in Punjab’s Bathinda, is an alleged conspirator in the Republic Day violence that took place during the farmers’ tractor rally.
Sidhana has been hiding since then. Reportedly, he was posting several videos on social media post the Republic Day violence.
In his last video, Lakha was seen asking his followers to support Deep Sidhu. It may be recalled that Sidhu was arrested after a reward of Rs 1 lakh leading to his arrest was announced by the Delhi police.
Earlier, there were reports that Lakha was arrested by Haryana Police. His appearance in Bathinda shows the failure of police officials who have not been able to arrest him so far.
