'America generates war, earn money': Pak Defence minister Khawaja Asif again pins blame on US

PTC News Desk: Pakistan's defence minister Khawaja Asif has once againe blamed America for the war and accused it of generating profits from the conflict. The video that is going viral online, shows Asif blaming United States, of prolonging tensions between the two nuclear powers on the Indian subcontinent.

The video that has been doing rounds on social media has drawn massive criticism across the globe. In the video Khawaja Asif has said that the United States has been the centre of several international conflicts in the past century.

'Everywhere in the world the Americans have been doing this from past 100 years. They generate wars. They have fought approximately 260 wars and China has fought three. They still make money. Their military industry is a massive, well-established sector and forms a major part of their GDP. That’s why they continue to create conflicts," Khawaja Asif said.

Referring to countries like Syria, Egypt, Afghanistan, and Libya, Asif stated that these nations were once prosperous but have now been devastated because of prolonged wars. “These countries were once wealthy. Now they are bankrupt,” he stated, indicating that American involvement contributed to their fall.

This is not the first time that Pakistan's defence minister has thrown US under the bus. Earlier in an interview with Sky News,  Asif admitted that Pakistan supported and fostered terror groups, claiming that the country was doing ’the US’s dirty work '.
