Bus crash in Mexico: 18 killed, several injured after bus plunges into ravine
Mexico bus crash: In the horrific accident from Mexico, 18 killed, several injured after a bus crash in the coastal Mexican state of Nayarit.
The accident took place in the early hours of Thursday near Barranca Blanca on the highway outside the state capital Tepic.
The bus was carrying 42 passengers, both Indians and International passengers which departed from Mexico City and was heading towards Tijuana.
Around 20 injured were admitted to the nearby hospital and are undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, the bus driver has been detained with authorities suspecting him of speeding round a bend in the road.
Images shared by Nayarit officials showed ambulances lining the highway.
Meanwhile, last month also horrific incident took place in Mexican state of Oaxaca which killed dozens of people.

In April, 18 people died when a bus drove off a cliff in western Mexico.
