PTC News Desk: A 28-year-old Indian national was found dead under mysterious circumstances after attending a music festival in Phuket, Thailand. The cause behind the death has not been ascertained yet.

The incident occurred during the early hours of January 18, Sunday, in Phuket, where the three-day music festival attracted thousands of national and international tourists.

The deceased has been identified as Jaisaksham, a 28-year-old Indian national. According to the reports, he was rushed to Thalang Hospital in Phuket’s Thalang district late on Saturday night after displaying disturbing behaviour following his visit to the Electric Daisy Carnival. Despite receiving medical treatment, he was later declared dead. Police said there were no visible injuries or signs of assault on his body.

Investigators said Jaisaksham had attended the Electric Daisy Carnival in Cherng Talay, which drew thousands of local and international music enthusiasts. Witnesses told police that after leaving the event, he appeared confused and agitated. He reportedly lost control and damaged property along Bandon–Choeng Thale Road, including several parked vehicles near Wat Somphan Rang. Concerned members of the public alerted emergency services after noticing his condition.

Rescue personnel took him to Thalang Hospital, where doctors found him to be in shock. Police said he soon lost consciousness after admission. Despite efforts by medical staff, he could not be revived. The attending doctor was unable to immediately establish the cause of death. A preliminary external examination found no injuries, wounds or indications of physical assault, police officials said.
