Ajitpal Singh Kohli
Punjab Assembly elections 2022:Famous Shiromani Akali Dal (Taksali) leader Ajitpal Singh Kohli joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in January 2022. He is a former Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) minister and ex-Patiala mayor. Kohli family has been active in Punjab politics for a long time and served various posts from council president in Patiala to a cabinet minister. His father, Surjit Singh Kohli and Grandfather Sardara Singh Kohli had served the Panth and Punjab in the Shiromani Akali Dal.
