Akshay Kumar Health after testing positive for coronavirus: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar on Monday said that he has been hospitalised as a 'precautionary measure under medical advice.
On Sunday, Akshay Kumar had informed that he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus while his health condition is reportedly stable.

Akshay Kumar was hospitalised at around 5 pm in Mumbai's Hiranandani hospital on Sunday, a report stated. Taking to social media, the actor had informed that he has quarantined himself at his home.
Akshay had shared a note on Instagram that reads, "I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself."

"I'm under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care of. Back in action very soon," he added.
Several Bollywood actors have tested positive for contagion disease amid the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, among the celebrities who contracted the virus. Soon after Akshay announced his diagnosis, Govinda's wife revealed that the actor has tested Covid positive and put himself under home quarantine.
Other prominent personalities who tested positive in the second wave include Aamir Khan, Kartik Aaryan, Manoj Bajpayee, Paresh Rawal, Tara Sutaria, R Madhavan, Sidhant Chaturvedi, Satish Kaushik and Bappi Lahiri.
