Amitabh Bachchan tears up on 'KBC 14', here's how internet reacted

Mumbai, October 10: Social media users were moved by the recent 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 14' promo, which showed host Amitabh Bachchan crying after his wife Jaya Bachchan made a revelation.

Taking to Instagram, Sony TV dropped the promo and captioned, "@bachchan ji ke surprise ko dekh kar @amitabhbachchan ji apne aansu rok nahin paaye!."

Abhishek Bachchan can be heard in the promo introducing his mother Jaya Bachchan as "bula lete hai...rishte mein jo hamari maa lagti hai." Jaya goes out about an incident in front of the audience that left the veteran celebrity with tears in his eyes and him wiping his tears with a tissue paper after being seated on the hot seat.

Fans became concerned about the actor shortly after the emotional promo for the upcoming episode was released.

A fan wrote, "Aapko itna bhavuk dekh kar hamari bhi aankh bhar aayi.... we love you Amit ji."

Another fan said, "Love you sir u r fabulous and always down to earth...I wish u live longer n longer God always blessed you... Happiest birthday and many more to come."

"Amit ji aapki aankhon me aansu dekh kar me bhi ro rahi hu miss you so much," another fan wrote.

Meanwhile, Jaya's revelation about the 'Shehenshah' actor remains a mystery, to be answered in the upcoming episode of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 14'.

On the occasion of Amitabh's 80th birthday, Abhishek and Jaya Bachchan will accompany the 'Deewar' actor on his popular quiz show.

Amitabh Bachchan, also known as Big B, was rightly called the "Shahenshah" of Bollywood. He established his on-screen persona as an "angry young man" by playing aggressive roles in films such as "Zanjeer," "Muqaddar Ka Sikandar," "Deewar," and "Kaala Patthar," to mention a few.

In the meantime, Amitabh recently appeared in director Vikas Behl's family entertainer film 'Goodbye,' opposite Rashmika Mandanna and Neena Gupta.

He will next be seen in the upcoming family entertainer film 'Uunchai,' directed by Sooraj Barjataya, alongside Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, and Parineeti Chopra.

The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on November 11, 2022.
