Mumbai (Maharashtra), October 19: Actor Ali Fazal is the latest celebrity to express his displeasure with MeToo accused Sajid Khan's participation in Salman Khan's reality show "Bigg Boss 16."

Ali recently reshared a post on Instagram demanding that filmmaker Sajid be removed from the reality show. A hand with a lighter can be seen burning the poster of Sajid Khan from Bigg Bigg 16 in the original post shared by an artist, Smish Designs. "Evict Sajid Khan from Bigg Boss now!" said the poster.

Sajid was embroiled in the #MeToo controversy in 2018 when nine women in the industry accused Khan of sexually assaulting them while working on his various projects. Saloni Chopra, Sherlyn Chopra, Aahana Kumra, and Mandana Karimi, among others, made allegations against him.

Many have criticised Colors TV's decision to bring Sajid to the Bigg Boss house, including singer Sona Mohapatra, who said she was harassed by music composer Anu Malik.

"This is #SajidKhan, now on a reality TV show. Then there is #AnuMalik judging a music reality show on TV, for children no less. #KailashKher? Celebrity Judge on TV. ALL called out by many many women in @IndiaMeToo. Indian TV channels, executives are indeed depraved & sad lot," she had said on Twitter.

Following the allegations, Sajid decided to take the 'moral responsibility of stepping down' from his position as director of 'Houseful 4' in 2018. Farhad Samji, a filmmaker, was tasked with directing the film. He further stated that he made the decision due to 'pressure' put on his family.

It remains to be seen whether Colors TV will remove Sajid from the show.
