‘Humne apni naav duba ke..': Bhojpuri actor Amrita Pandey’s cryptic WhatsApp status before death
Bhojpuri actor Amrita Pandey no more : Popular Bhojpuri actress Amrita Pandey aka Annapurna is no more. As per the reports, she was found dead at her residence in Bhagalpur, Bihar.
The police suspect that the 27-year-old actor died by suicide as before her demise, Amrita posted a cryptic WhatsApp status which reads, "Do naav me savaar thi uski zindagi, humne apni naav duba ke uska safar aasaan kar diya" (Their life was sailing on two boats, we made the journey easy by sinking one).
As per the media reports, Amrita Pandey was discovered hanging from the ceiling fan with her saree at her residence at Divya Dham apartment in the Adampura area.
Investigating further into the case, it has been reported that Amrita was distressed about her career as she was facing a lack of opportunities and was battling depression.
She was residing in Mumbai with her husband Chandramani Jhangad, who works as an animation engineer. Recently, the couple attended Amrita’s sister's wedding in Bhagalpul on April 18. While her husband returned home after the wedding, Amrita decided to stay back.
Notably, Amrita had a prolific career spanning across various mediums including films, television shows, web series, and advertisements in both Bhojpuri and Hindi languages
Amrita was actively involved in a web series project. She portrayed roles in numerous serials and films, with the first part of her horror web series, 'Pratishodh', recently released.
Amrita also shared the screen with Bhojpuri star Khesari Lal Yadav in the film 'Deewanapan' and also appeared in Hindi movies, television programs, and web series.
