Captain Amarinder quits Congress, floats Punjab Lok Congress

Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh announced his resignation from the Congress on Tuesday. He also floated new party named the Punjab Lok Congress.

In his resignation letter, Captain Amarinder Singh said," I tender my resignation from the Indian National Congress in the interest of my state and my country."
