Dyal Singh Randhawa is the new Punjab And Haryana High Court Bar Association Chief

After a neck-and-neck race, Dyal Singh Randhawa has been elected as the Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association President on Saturday. He defeated his nearest rival JBS Dhillon by 158 votes.

Dyal Singh Randhawa bagged 1007 votes, while 849 votes were polled in JBS Dhillon’s favour.

For the Vice-President’s post, Vikas Malik emerged victorious with 1536 votes. Rohit Sood has been elected for the secretary’s post.

For the joint secretary’s post, Rajni emerged victoriously and for the treasurer’s post Fatehjeet Singh has been elected.

As the results came pouring in, advocates heavily garlanded Dyal Singh Randhawa. A continuous stream of advocates could be seen congratulating him as he expressed his gratitude to the voters.
