PTC Web Desk:  The box office momentum of 'Dhurandhar' shows no signs of slowing down. Defying the usual second-week slowdown, the Ranveer Singh-led spy thriller has continued its remarkable run, delivering massive numbers both in India and overseas. Trade analysts are calling its sustained performance one of the most extraordinary post-pandemic box office trends in Bollywood.

On its 12th day, 'Dhurandhar' once again posted eye-catching figures. After collecting Rs 30.50 crore net in India on Monday, the film followed it up with another Rs 30 crore on Tuesday, an exceptional feat for a film already deep into its second week. With this, the film’s domestic net collection has surged to Rs 411.25 crore, while its India gross now stands at approximately Rs 493.50 crore.

This achievement places 'Dhurandhar' among an elite group, making it only the seventh Hindi film to cross the Rs 400-crore net milestone in India. Given its current pace, industry trackers believe the film is well on course to breach the Rs 500-crore and Rs 600-crore benchmarks, with strong speculation that it could even emerge as the first Bollywood film to touch the Rs 700-crore net mark domestically.

The film’s international performance has been equally impressive. After a strong second weekend overseas, Dhurandhar has amassed around $16 million globally within 12 days, with more than half of that coming in the last five days alone. Its worldwide box office collection has now reached an estimated Rs 639 crore, more than doubling its earnings from the first week.

On Tuesday, 'Dhurandhar' also overtook the lifetime worldwide collections of several major blockbusters, including Leo, Jailer, and Sultan. With its current trajectory, the film is expected to surpass the global total of the first 'Baahubali' film and edge closer to the coveted Rs 700-crore worldwide club in the coming days.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is a high-octane spy thriller that features Ranveer Singh in the role of Hamza, an Indian intelligence officer operating undercover in Pakistan’s Lyari region. The film boasts a strong supporting cast, including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal. The makers have already confirmed a sequel that will conclude the storyline, scheduled for release on March 12, 2026.
