Amid this atmosphere of tension, actress Rakhi Sawant has expressed her deep distress over the threats facing the beloved actor from the Bishnoi brothers.
In an emotional video that has gained traction online, Rakhi Sawant has voiced her concern, highlighting Salman Khan's significant impact on Bollywood and society at large. She described him as a "Bollywood legend" whose life and contributions are invaluable. Rakhi implored the Bishnoi brothers to reconsider their actions and spare Salman's life.
"Whatever has happened isn’t right," Rakhi stated in the video. "You've called this a ‘trailer’. Yeh achchi baat nahi hai. Salman bhai is my brother. He's the legend of Bollywood," she said. Despite acknowledging the fear within the industry, Rakhi Sawant remained undeterred. "Rakhi Sawant ko udta teer lene ki aadat hai. I’m not scared of anyone else apart from God," she added.
In April 2021, Rakhi Sawant revealed how Salman Khan, along with his brother Sohail Khan, had generously financed her mother Jaya Sawant's cancer treatment during difficult times amid the pandemic. "My mother was dying. Salman bhai spent a significant amount for her operation. Where will we ever find a man like Salman Khan?" she recalled.
