PTC News Desk: Days after Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi confirmed her marriage to singer-rapper Badshah in June, there seems a trouble in the paradise.
Isha in a span of days posted a thread of emotional messages on Instagram fueling separation rumours among fans. While the initial post talked about storms having a lesson, the latest post about fighting battles that leave invisible scars and living in fear of her husband's power and influence has fueled the speculations.
‘Remained silent because’
In an Instagram post on Monday, Isha wrote: “There are battles that leave no visible scars. For a long time, I remained silent because I was afraid. I felt overwhelmed by the influence, power, and resources I believed my husband had, and I convinced myself that staying quiet was the safest thing to do.”
“Silence was never acceptance. It was survival. Today, I'm choosing courage over fear. I may not be ready to tell the whole story, but I'm finally ready to stop pretending that everything was okay,” it further read.
The latest Instagram post was shared days after the actress shared amontage of pictures and videos featuring herself and Badshah with a cryptic caption saying, “Every storm is a lesson. Every prayer is hope”, which initially sparked speculation of their separation.
Following Isha's latest statement, many fans are now waiting to see if Badshah responds publicly.
Support from Industry
The emotional and cryptic posts drew support from the industry with celebrities pouring in support for Isha in the comment section.
Punjabi actor Shruti Sodhi wrote, “You are a strong woman and everyone is with you.” Bigg Boss OTT 3 winner Sana Makbul commented, “You are strong.”
Karan Aujla's wife, Palak Aujla also extended her support for Ishi Rikhi amid separation rumours. Sharing the post on her Stories, Palak Aujla said, “You are so strong, so beautiful. You got this, my love.”
About Isha Rikhi and Badshah
Rumours about rapper Badshah and actress Isha Rikhi getting married first surfaced on March 24 after Isha's mother, Poonam Rikhi, shared photos and videos on social media. The posts appeared to show a small wedding ceremony attended only by close family members and friends.
The speculation grew stronger when Badshah shared a cryptic post on social media. He posted several pictures with a mystery woman whose face was hidden in every photo. He captioned the post, "Universe has a strange way of putting people in your life," further fueling rumours.
Badshah separated from his first wife, Jasmine Masih, in 2020. The former couple has a daughter, Jessemy Grace Masih Singh, and they continue to co-parent her.
During an Instagram interaction in June, a fan asked Isha why she and Badshah did not follow each other on social media despite being married, adding more speculation about their relationship.
