PTC News Desk: Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda and his wife, actor-entrepreneur Lin Laishram have announced first pregnancy on their second wedding anniversary. The couple shared the joyous milestone on social media with the caption, “Two years of love, adventure, and now a little wild one on the way.”
The couple took to their social media and shared a heartfelt post with a dreamy picture. In the photo, the couple is seen sitting in the woods by a bonfire, twinning in beige while smiling warmly at the camera. Alongside the image, they confirmed Lin’s pregnancy with the caption, “Two years of love, adventure, and now a little wild one on the way.”
Randeep and Lin first met at Motley, the theatre group run by Naseeruddin Shah, where they became friends and later fell in love. After dating for a short time, they got married in 2023 in Imphal, Manipur, in a traditional Meitei-style wedding. Randeep fully participated in Manipuri customs and wore traditional clothing, while Lin looked beautiful in a traditional Manipuri bridal outfit with gold jewellery. The wedding was small and private, attended only by close family and friends.
Randeep said they chose to marry in Manipur out of respect for Lin’s culture. He mentioned, “It feels very good. I wanted to follow the bride’s tradition. I’ve heard the groom has to sit for a long time in Meitei weddings, but I’m excited to experience my partner’s culture.”
Lin has acted in several films including Om Shanti Om, Mary Kom, Umrika, and Rangoon, and continues to work in creative fields. Randeep was last seen in Jaat as the villain opposite Sunny Deol. He will next appear in the Hollywood action-adventure comedy Matchbox, directed by Sam Hargrave, alongside John Cena, Jessica Biel, Danai Gurira, Teyonah Parris, Sam Richardson, Arturo Castro, and Corey Stoll. The film is expected to release in 2026.
