Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna host grand wedding reception in Hyderabad; see pics
PTC Web Desk: Actor Vijay Deverakonda and actress Rashmika Mandanna hosted a star-studded wedding reception in Hyderabad on March 4 at the luxurious Taj Krishna. The grand celebration followed their intimate wedding ceremony held on February 26 in Udaipur.
The couple had tied the knot at the picturesque ITC Mementos Ekaaya Udaipur in a private ceremony attended by around 250 close friends and family members. Their wedding rituals were conducted according to two traditions, Telugu and Kodava, reflecting their cultural backgrounds.
The Hyderabad reception turned into a major gathering of celebrities from both Bollywood and South Indian film industries, along with several political personalities. Prominent Bollywood names, including filmmaker Karan Johar, actress Kriti Sanon, Rhea Chakraborty, casting director Mukesh Chhabra and veteran actress Neena Gupta attended the event.
Several leading stars from the South Indian film industry were also present to congratulate the newlyweds. Among them were Allu Arjun, who worked with Rashmika in the blockbuster film 'Pushpa', as well as Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh Daggubati and Karthi.
While posing for photographers during the reception, Vijay Deverakonda jokingly mentioned that this would be the final ceremony related to their wedding celebrations and hinted that he would “go underground” afterward, drawing laughter from guests and fans.
Due to the high-profile guest list, security arrangements at the venue were extremely strict. Ahead of the reception, the couple had issued an official note stating that entry would only be allowed with a valid invitation card, ensuring the privacy and safety of attendees.
For their wedding ceremony in Udaipur, Rashmika wore a traditional red saree paired with heavy gold jewellery, while Vijay opted for an ivory dhoti with a red angavastram. After the wedding, the couple shared glimpses of their special day on social media, delighting their fans.
