Haryana sends proposal to start inter-state bus movement; here is the list of routes

Haryana Government has decided to start bus services on various routes for commuters to travel from one state to another. In this regard, the state government has written to UP, Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, MP, Uttarakhand, Delhi, and UT of Chandigarh.

Here is the list of the routes: 

Uttar Pradesh	Faridabad-Aligarh and Back
Uttar Pradesh	Gurugram-Aligarh and Back
Uttar Pradesh	Panipat-Bareilly via Muradabad and Back
Uttar Pradesh	Gurugram-Mathura and Back
Rajasthan	Gurugram-Jaipur and Back
Rajasthan	Hisar-Ajmer and Back
Punjab	Karnal-Amritsar and Back
Himachal Pradesh	Ambala-Panchkula-Shimla and Back
Uttarakhand	Ambala-Yamuna Nagar-Dehradun and Back
UT Chandigarh	Gurugram-Chandigarh and Back

Delhi	Panchkula-Delhi and Back
Madhya Pradesh	Gurugram-Gwalior and Back

 

According to the information, the Chandigarh administration has decided to accept the Haryana government's proposal for the inter-state movement of the bus on the Chandigarh-Gurugram route.

The Ministry of Health Affairs (MHA) on May 17 issued a set of guidelines for lockdown 4. Meanwhile, the MHA stated that the inter-state movement of passenger vehicles and buses will be permitted with the restrictions, except in the containment zones. The Inter-state movement should be permitted with the mutual consent of the States/UTs involved.

As per the report, Haryana Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma said that the consent of neighbouring states was awaited to restart the inter-state bus service.
