IED Blast in J&K Pulwama: Two Army Personnel succumbed to their injuries, dies

Two Army personnel who got injuries in IED attack which took place on Monday targeting mobile vehicle patrol of 44 RR in Arihal, Pulwama, have succumbed to their injuries. In an IED blast, eight Army personnel and two civilians were injured when militants fitted an improvised explosive device in a vehicle near Army convoy.

Reportedly, a multi-vehicle patrol of the 44 Rashtriya Rifles was crossing through the Arihal-Pulwama road when IED took place. The incident injured the Army personnel who were traveling in bullet-and-mine-proof Casper vehicle.

Also, the IED blast that took place on Monday, was just 27km away from the area where a convoy of vehicles was attacked by a suicide bomber on February 14, in which 40 CRPF personnel were martyred.
