IIT alumni establish digital library with access to 1.5 crore books at government school in Jhajjar village
IIT alumni of Roorkee, New Delhi and Kharagpur on Sunday established a digital library at a Government Senior Secondary School in Jhajjar village. It will have access to IIT-Kharagpur’s digital library with 1.5 crore books. The books are available in 16 languages. Also, the library is equipped with 200 books, a projector and four computers with an internet connection.

An alumnus of IIT-Delhi, Anand Bhushan, has financed the entire library project which was Rs 5 lakh. Prof Sanjeev Sanghi, Dean, Alumni Affairs and International Programme, IIT Delhi inaugurated the library.

Alumni of IIT Roorkee Rekha Bhushan, Kalyan Patra of IIT-Kharagpur and Vinod Yadav and Shashank Sonal of IIT-Delhi helped Anand Bhushan in establishing this library.
