Popular Bollywood actor John Abraham who is known for his selfless care for animals has voiced out against animal cruelty after a man allegedly shot a sleeping stray dog in Punjab’s Patiala district on Wednesday.
John Abraham expressed his emotions and his anger over the incident and urged all citizens to not avoid any such behavior which gives light to the animal cruelty.

“There is no excuse for animal cruelty or violence of any form. Speak up for those who can’t and set an example by condemning such horrific acts,” the actor further quoted.
However, an FIR has been registered against Taranjot under Indian Penal Code Section 429 (mischief by killing animal) at Punjab's Patran police station. The accused was also booked under different sections of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.

Talking about John Abraham, the actor is also making sure to help by donating oxygen concentrators in the current situation of Covid-19 crisis.
On the cinematic front, he will be next in ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ which has been shifted to release from May 13 to a later date which is yet to be announced.
