Mohali Road Accident: In a major road accident, an Innova car rammed into an unidentified vehicle on Monday morning. The accident took place at Sector 78-79 lightpoint while it was raining since morning. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started the further investigation.
Mohali Zone 3 Incharge, Sham Sunder, informed that the cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile, the police have taken the vehicle to the police station and cleared the traffic. The police have suspected that Innova might have rammed into some tanker, which is being missing from the spot.
"We are trying to find out more about the Innova vehicle using its number plate and papers," said Sham Sunder.

It has been raining since morning and the rain has led to many traffic jams. Also, the airport lights near Zirakpur witnessed a huge traffic jam due to rain. The traffic lights were not working, which resulted in the traffic on the road. The police reached the spot and cleared the jam manually.
