Narendra Modi Temple, worth 30 crore to be built in Uttar Pradesh

A temple in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be built in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

The temple will be worth Rs 30 crore that is going to be built in the Sardhana area of Meerut, along with a 100-foot statue of the PM would be installed too.

JP Singh announced the project, a retired engineer from the Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department.

The stone laying ceremony and 'Bhumi Pujan' for the temple will take place on October 23 and Bharatiya Janata Party chief Amit Shah is likely to be a part of the event.

Singh said that it will take around two years to complete the Modi temple.

When asked about the motive behind building the statue, Singh said, "I like Prime Minister Modi's policies since decades and because I was still on the job, I was unable to do anything for him."
