19-kg commercial LPG cylinder price decreases by Rs 19
PTC News Desk: Oil marketing companies (OMCs) have implemented a significant reduction in the price of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 19 in Delhi starting May 1.
This downward adjustment in prices mirrors similar reductions observed in other major metropolitan cities across India, coinciding with the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections of 2024.

With this latest revision, the cost of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has been revised to Rs 1,745.50, down from its previous price of Rs 1,764.50. Similarly, Mumbai has also witnessed a Rs 19 decrease, with the new price now standing at Rs 1,698.50. However, in Chennai, the price remains at Rs 1,911, and in Kolkata, it is now Rs 1,859 after experiencing a reduction of Rs 20.

This reduction in prices comes in line with the recent trend of declining global oil prices, which have experienced a consecutive three-day fall. Several factors contribute to this downturn, including the accumulation of crude inventories in the United States and growing optimism regarding a potential ceasefire agreement in the Middle East.
