Haryanvi singer Diler Kharkiya’s Range Rover was fired at outside his Bhiwani home. He was not in the car. Police are probing the shooting and a social media post claiming responsibility
PTC Web Desk: Haryanvi singer and actor Diler Kharkiya has come under a security scare after an unidentified man allegedly fired at his Range Rover outside his home in Bhiwani late Thursday evening.
Diler Kharkiya was not inside the vehicle when the shooting took place, according to the police. Initial information suggests that a man arrived on a motorcycle, fired at the parked vehicle and fled from the area. Police teams reached the spot after receiving information and began investigating the incident.
The shooting reportedly took place around 10.30 pm. The police said a single bullet hit the vehicle.

Social media post claims responsibility
Soon after the incident, a post appeared on social media claiming responsibility for the firing. The post mentioned the names of Anil Pandit, Himanshu Sonepat, Harry Boxer and Harman Sandhu.
The post also contained a threat against Kharkiya and alleged that the shooting was carried out after he did not respond to calls. The police are examining the authenticity and origin of the post as part of the investigation.
At present, the social media claim has not been independently verified. The police are also investigating whether the people named in the post were actually involved in the shooting.
Police begin search for attacker
Bhiwani Superintendent of Police Mayank Mishra said police teams were working to identify and trace the person who fired at the vehicle.
Investigators would examine CCTV footage from the area, including footage showing the suspected attacker arriving on a motorcycle. The circumstances behind the firing and the reason for targeting the singer are also being investigated.
Who is Diler Kharkiya?
Diler Kharkiya is known as a singer, actor and model in the Haryanvi entertainment industry. He began performing in ragni programmes as a child, influenced by his father Rajendra Kharkiya, who is a well-known ragni artist.
Kharkiya entered the Haryanvi music industry in 2018 and has been associated with songs, including Leelo Chaman, Moto, Jutti Kaali, High Court, Kabootri and Aloo Matar.

The latest firing has once again brought attention to security concerns surrounding public figures in Haryana. The police are focusing on identifying the shooter, verifying the social media claim and establishing the motive behind the attack.
