Drone spotted over Prime Minister Modis residence, probe on

New Delhi, July 3: A drone was reportedly spotted over the residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday morning. 

Officers from the Special Protection Group, an elite unit that protects the Prime Minister, told the police about the drone sighting at 5 a.m.

Following the alert, the Delhi Police launched a search operation to locate the drone. However, no drone has been found so far.

Notably, PM Modi's residence comes under the red no-fly zone or no-drone zone.

"Information was received at the NDD control room about an unidentified flying object near PM's residence. Thorough searches were made in nearby areas but no such object was detected. The air traffic control room (ATC) was also contacted, they also didn't detect any such flying object near PM's residence," Delhi Police said.
