Drug overdose suspected to be reason behind travel influencer Anunay Soods death in Las Vegas

PTC Web Desk: Travel influencer and photographer Anunay Sood, known for his large online following and global travel content, was found dead inside a room at the Wynn Las Vegas earlier this month. A preliminary investigation suggests the possibility of a drug overdose, according to a report by LA-based outlet 8NewsNow.
Police officers responded on November 4 after Anunay Sood was found unresponsive in his hotel room. Investigators noted that suspected narcotics were recovered near the body, as per documents accessed by the publication.
Sood, who had over 1.5 million followers on Instagram, was visiting Las Vegas to attend the Las Vegas Concours 2025, a luxury automotive showcase he had posted about on social media shortly before his death.

She stated that she, Sood and another woman consumed the substance before going to sleep. When the two women woke up roughly an hour later, they found Sood unresponsive.
Authorities recovered a small bag containing an unknown white powder and other items indicating that the substance may have been snorted.
Anunay Sood’s family and friends confirmed his passing on Instagram last week, requesting privacy and urging followers not to gather outside the family home. His last social media posts also placed him in Las Vegas.
The Los Angeles Metropolitan Police Department had earlier said officers responded to a report of a deceased person in the 3100 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard and filed a non-criminal medical report after assisting the coroner.
The Clark County coroner’s office has listed his cause and manner of death as “pending”, noting that toxicology tests, necessary to determine whether substances contributed to his death, could take several months to conclude. As of Monday, no arrests have been made.
