Delhi airport launches ‘Your Terminal Companion’ to make travel easy for passengers

PTC Web Desk: Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has started a new initiative called ‘Your Terminal Companion’ at Indira Gandhi International Airport to make travel easier for passengers.

This initiative is part of the airport’s #DELCares programme and aims to help travellers understand airport procedures without confusion. It works like a digital guide that passengers can use anytime during their journey.


The video series has 24 short modules that explain every step of travel: from departure to arrival and even transit. It covers important processes like check-in, security checks, immigration, baggage collection and how to exit the airport.

These videos are designed especially for first-time flyers, who often find airport systems difficult to understand.

One of the biggest highlights of this initiative is that the videos are available in 20 languages, including English, Hindi, Mandarin, Arabic, French, German and Japanese. This helps both Indian and international travellers understand the process easily without depending on staff.

The service is useful for many passengers, including senior citizens, solo travellers and young flyers, as it provides simple and clear instructions.

Passengers can watch these videos by scanning QR codes placed across the airport. They are also available on the Delhi Airport website and YouTube channel, allowing travellers to prepare even before reaching the airport.

DIAL said the videos have already received more than 2 lakh views in just three months without any promotion. Around 82% of common passenger queries are now being solved through this digital guide.

DIAL CEO Videh Kumar Jaipuriar said the goal is to make travel smooth and stress-free for every passenger, no matter their language or experience level.

This initiative adds to other services under #DELCares, such as buggy services, free strollers and priority lanes, making Delhi Airport more passenger-friendly.
