IAF officers alleges sexual assault, forced religious conversion in Nagpur, two arrested

PTC News Desk: Two people have been arrested in connection with a viral video showing a 24-year-old woman frantically crying as her former classmate, Ayyaz Taj Madare (26), forcefully holds her hands while chanting religious verses and repeatedly blowing over her as she struggles to break free.
The woman lodged a complaint in Maharashtra's Nagpur alleging sexual assault, blackmail, extortion and forced religious conversion.
Police have arrested two accused, Madare and Ameen Sheikh (30), while efforts are underway to locate and arrest a third suspect, Hazrat Maulana, a resident of Tamia in Madhya Pradesh.
Investigators said the woman's husband serves in the Indian Air Force and is currently posted in another city. The complainant works in the property-dealing business.
According to her complaint, in February 2025, Ayyaz allegedly contacted her claiming he was interested in buying a plot of land and invited her to a hotel on Wardha Road. The woman alleged that he gave her juice mixed with an intoxicating substance and sexually assaulted her after she lost consciousness. She further claimed that the accused recorded videos and photographs of the assault.
Police have registered a case under charges including rape, extortion, attempted religious conversion, and provisions of the Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and Other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act. The two arrested accused have been sent to five days of police custody by a court.
