Jaipur : Woman killed, friend hurt after being run over by car

Jaipur shocker: In yet another heartbreaking and disturbing incident unfolded in Jaipur's well-known Malviya Nagar area, where a car deliberately caused the death of 19-year-old woman and inflicted injuries to her friend (28)

The fatal incident unfolded outside a hotel located on Girdhar Marg in the Jawahar Circle police station area in Jaipur at around 5:30 am and 6 am on Tuesday. 

From the video, it can be seen that an attempt was made to crush a young man and a girl outside the hotel with a car. In which the girl lost her life and a young man got injured.

The victims have been identified as Rajkumar and Uma Suthar. The accused has been identified as Mangesh.

The heated argument between the three started at around11pm when accused Mangesh was having drinks with her girlfriend there. After some time, they started passing comments on Uma. When Rajkumar objected, Mangesh said he already knew him. 

Meanwhile, Mangesh and his girlfriend also came there and started a row with them in front of the hotel. As the fight escalated, Mangesh left but soon returned in his car and drove over Rajkumar and Uma. 

Meanwhile, AICC Member ,Team Representative of NSUI Rajasthan, Abhishek Choudhary also took to his X handle (former Twitter) shared the horrific video and wrote, "Jungle Raj has started in Rajasthan. Criminals are committing crimes without fear, and the blind government is running only on paper.Why is the young man who fearlessly ran a car over a girl in the capital still out of police custody?

A case has been also filed under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 302 (murder) and 307 (attempt to murder) against the accused. The Rajasthan and Jaipur police is examining CCTV footage as part of the investigation.

Further investigation is underway.
