New Delhi, October 15: An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 shook the region of Faridabad in Haryana on a Sunday afternoon, with its tremors being felt across Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR). This event occurred at 4:08 pm and comes just days after another significant earthquake on October 3.
The National Centre for Seismology estimated the magnitude of this earthquake, with the epicenter located in Faridabad, Haryana, at a depth of 10km. The epicenter was positioned nine kilometers east of Faridabad and 30 kilometers southeast of Delhi. Fortunately, no damage or casualties were reported in connection with this earthquake.
This recent earthquake, with a magnitude of 3.1, was considerably milder than the previous seismic event, which registered at 6.2 on the Richter scale and originated in Nepal at a depth of 5km.
